- What exactly does WatchPage check?
- WatchPage fetches your page on a schedule and compares it to the last version it saw. It can watch the whole page, a specific CSS selector, a price, or a piece of text — and it records the HTTP status so you also learn when a page stops responding.
- How is this different from uptime monitoring?
- Uptime tools tell you when a server stops responding. WatchPage does that too, but its main job is content: it tells you when the words, prices, or availability on a page actually change, even while the site stays up.
- What can I monitor?
- Whole-page changes, a specific element via CSS selector, price changes on product pages, and text matches. Each monitor can also alert you when the page returns an error status.
- How do alerts reach me?
- Email, Telegram, or a signed webhook to your own endpoint. Connect channels in Settings and pick per-monitor which ones fire. The Free plan allows 1 alert channel.
- How often are checks run?
- Depends on your plan. Free checks hourly, Starter every 15 minutes, Pro every 5 minutes, and Business every 2 minutes. All plans run around the clock.
- Do I need a credit card to start?
- No. The Free plan gives you 3 monitors with hourly checks and email or Telegram alerts, with no card required. There is no time-limited trial — the free plan simply stays free.
- How is billing handled?
- Paid plans are billed monthly in US dollars: Starter $88, Pro $168, Business $288. There is no annual plan.
